Area Sales Manager

To be responsible for all sales and training activities in the defined geographical area.

Main Duties:
To sell Relyon and Dunlopillo products to selected independent customers in the designated sales territory, with the overall aim of increasing business levels and ensuring that the sales and profit targets agreed with the Brand Sales Director are met for the sales area.
Day to day management of the sales territory and ensuring that the integrity of the Relyon & Dunlopillo brand names is maintained at all times.
Attend key regional shows such as the AIS/Independent Shows, the NBF show and all meetings at Relyon as and when required
Work in co-operation with the rest of the ASM team to assist in the design and development of new ideas and models through market place feedback.

Successful selling in a very competitive market place
Excellent negotiation skills with a strong commercial and financial awareness
Solid communication (verbal and written) and active listening skills

Hours: The role will involve long distance travel within the UK, and occasionally staying away from home. This requires flexibility in terms of hours worked.

Pay: Salary on application.

Location: Would suit an applicant based centrally in the North West (travelling between the Lake District and North Wales).

Shunter Driver (Warehouse Operator)

Wellington Site

39 Hours per week (Double Days – Rotating Weekly Shifts)
Week One: 6 am – 2 pm / Week Two: 2 pm – 10 pm


To drive LGV lorries (on site only) to manoeuvre trailers/goods in order to aid loading and unloading.

To ensure the correct and safe loading of customer goods onto lorries and to unload product from satellite warehouses.

The role requires an individual who has the ability to lift large bulky items and heavy objects.

Full clean driving licence is essential. Class 1 Licence and /or experience of driving a Class 1 vehicle would be an advantage, however training will be provided.

To be successful in this role you will need a positive attitude to work and be willing to work as part of flexible team. Your team will expect you to be reliable and able to use your own initiative.

Pay: £8.71 per hour plus a 10% shift allowance.

LGV Driver

(Class 1)

We are looking for a full-time, long distance LGV Driver for nationwide and multi-drop deliveries.  You will hold a LGV Class 1 licence, Drivers CPC card and digital tachograph.

Previous experience of loading/unloading bulky/heavy product
Able to adhere to strict delivery windows
Controlling paperwork, POD’s delivery notes etc.
Trunking goods between depots
2 years previous experience of driving a Class 1 vehicle.

Hours: 45 hours per week (‘nights out’ as required)
Days: Monday – Friday
