Procurement Co-ordinator

We are looking to recruit a Procurement Co-ordinator into the Purchasing Team to deputise for the Purchasing Manager and act as lead for Purchasing systems and processes.

Duties include:
Leading the implementation of the Purchasing MRP system and acting as champion for the on-going use of the system
Ensuring that purchase orders are raised in accordance with procedures with agreed lead times, correct process and agreed batch quantities
Proactively expedite purchase orders to ensure on time delivery
Take ownership of relationships with suppliers in the agreed categories to include problem resolution via liaison with colleagues internally and with the supplier
Proactively investigate ways and means of reducing the total cost of supply for materials and processes
Liaise with suppliers and production departments to ensure that material specifications, compliance requirements and appropriate quality levels are understood and agreed
Ensure that inventory is maintained at agreed levels to target 100% availability for production

The successful candidate will have:

Professional Purchasing Qualifications (CIPS), alternatively a willingness to train is essential
Excellent written and verbal skills
Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office
An ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines

The successful candidate will be organised, able to multi-skill and eager to become a key part of a busy Purchasing Team.

Hours: 39 per week
Salary: Dependant on experience

Production Operators
(Mattress Assembly)

We are seeking individuals who meet the following requirements:

Basic literacy and numeracy skills
Flexible approach and positive attitude to work
Willing to work as part of a flexible team
Willing to learn new skills, particularly Tape Edging
Experience of working with either manual or automated machinery
Factory experience is an advantage
Awareness of Health and Safety

Your team will expect you to be reliable, able to use your own initiative, quality-minded and team-oriented. Manual handling is an essential part of all Production roles.

Hours: 39 hours per week

Mon-Thurs: 7:45am-4:45pm
Fri: 7:45am-12:45pm

Pay: £8.71 per hour
